I am looking for a Bike computer than can handle structured workouts similar to my run workouts on my Garmin 910
Run Workout is like this
Programme workout on Garmin Connect and transfer to watch. Sample workout may be something like 5 repeats at 5 minutes long at 4:00 min/km to 4:10 min/km. When running this interval my watch will beep to advise if my average pass is too fast or too slow. So the key here is that Garmin calculates my average pace and compares this with the programmed workout pace
If I do a similar workout on my bike I would use a power bracket of say 280 to 300 watts. However my watch now compares my actual watts (not average) to the programmed workout watts and keeps beeping at me to increase or decrease. Problem is that the interval workout is not measure in average watts
Question - Is there a bike computer that has structured workouts, that will calculate and compare my average watts to the workout specified watts?
