Best Triathlon Podcast?
I have a long drive coming up and prefer talk radio, podcasts, or audiobooks for long drives.

I've never listened to Triathlon podcasts so don't know which are any good. Any recommendations?

Check out Tri Talk on iTunes. They used to have a pretty good series going, stopped for a while, but I believe they just started them up again. I've met the guy who runs them (Dave Warden), and he's about as knowledgeable as anyone in the sport (he actually wrote a large portion of the Triathlon Science book that was released last year by Friel).

Competitor radio mainly has interviews with IM pros and related: http://competitorradio.competitor.com/

Endurance hour podcast has pro and age group banter: http://www.swimbikerunvideos.com/endurance-hour-podcast/

IM Talk - best IM podcast by far http://www.imtalk.me/
They also have "Legends of Triathlon"

First Off The Bike is a good Australian focused podcast.

Competitor Radio - I just download the episodes I think will be interesting.

Firstoffthebike is my favourite, those guys are hilarious. A little more Aussie focused but pretty good. Other than that I like Competitor Radio for Bob Babbit's laugh alone.

Zen trip and IM talk are my go to. The age grouper used to be good, but I think family responsibilities wore them down.

I liked them a lot too. IM Talk is both informative and funny. A friend does Du You Tri and that's not bad - mix of beginner and mop stuff. Endurance Planet has some killer interviews.

Tawnee Prazak from E.P. is going to read the news on ZenTri with me this week. She's always entertaining.

ZenTri is the best if you want to improve yourself. IM Talk is the best if you want to keep up with the tri scene. TRI Swim Coach is also pretty good and goes beyond just swimming. Age Grouper is a little nauseating. It used to be ok but now all they talk about is how they don't race.

If you want to learn about products such as the fitness mouthpiece and squatty potty though there really is only one resource for that kind of knowledge.

Hey, thanks! I'm doing a huge volume build leading up to Ironman Texas and am detailing all the ugly behind the scenes of what 22+ hours per week is really like, plus a lot of MAF training results and fueling experiments. And tips for dealing with heat. And if you bastards don't donate to help my kid buy his first mountain bike, then I'll never podcast again. Until next week, because you know, triathlon never stops and he should buy his own bike anyway.

Zen Triathlon is easily my favorite. Triathlon is definitely the foundation but there are a lot of life lessons/ideas in there also. Taking bits and pieces from it, I'm improved the balance in my life (work/family/triathlon) and this year I'm much happier. Thanks Brett!

Thanks so much for mentioning that they're back, I hadn't noticed! I like First Off The Bike and Age Grouper pretty well, Zen is OK, but Tri Talk is my favorite and I had pretty much written off hope of new episodes.

IM Talk is great but if you are having Tawnee on with you then you need to video/podcast as she is smoking hot :)
