scott plasma is a tall and short frame...probably more so than the lucero

cannondale slice........and some vagisil:)

need to figure that out more than just "didn't feel right"
did you ever ADJUST, the lucero? what size was it? what felt wrong?

if you can't get low then an aero road bike might be the best solution. especially the s5, since it has superbike level aeroness and a tall head tube.

Tried 0 spacers, all the way up to 3.
90mm stem up to 120mm.
Compact cranks with 165mm arms and Standard with 170s.
Cockpit - vision with 270mm extensions.

Always felt like length between cockpit and seat was "off."
Shorter stem and big time lower back pain.
Longer stem and felt pulled off the front of the seat. (this was major complaint)
When racing, I always like I was fighting the bike and falling off the front of the seat to gain power (and seat was all the way forward)


Most comfortable was all 3 spacers with a 110mm stem...
Seat (Adamo) was almost always slammed forward. Experimented with up to 1in towards the rear, but made things worse.

I am 5'4", large legs and a short torso also, but a bit better flexiblity in the back and I ride a QR Tequilo in a "Small" (I think it is between 48-50cm), it seems good for me, and so far I haven't raced it over a long (18mile) sprint ride, so you can give it a try too.

Bottom line: Get fit by a reputable fitter before buying another frame.

You may find your current frame works with some adjustment, or (at least) you'll know what position you need to replicate and can pick the appropriate frame.

I would look at a Cannondale or Specialized!

Sounds like you are not comfortable with either fit and still searching around.

From your experimentation sounds like you need a frame that is "low drop" (i.e. high stack) and that is set up for you to ride quite steep (80^+).

The new Shiv has a setback seatpost option that can be flipped to go quite steep.

The Titanflex frames (like most beam bikes) can be configured for virtually any seat tube angle.
