Thumbs up to both of these!

There's also a deli on the same street as the Brewery that I can't recall the name of.

Pizzetta's has good pizza. Small local joint and Mellow Mushroom is great with two locations. One at Wrightsville Beach (super close to T1) and one on Oleander Drive. Antonio's Pizza and Pasta is good but that depends on where you may be staying.

The OC is a good Italian place on Military Cutoff so you'll see the strip mall on the course as you ride by Saturday. Or hit it up after you drop your bike off at T1.

Flaming Amy's BOWL is better than the Barn in my opinion.

There's a great place called the Shukin' Shack on the corner of Market and Front Street downtown close to the finish line if you want a raw bar and awesome chicken wings.

Tower 7 & K38 are good. T7 is on WB and K38 is on Oleander.

Most of the restaurants downtown are good so it will be hard to go wrong.

If you're also looking to support a local triathlete, hit up Port Land Grille. Shawn's restaurant is great.

EPIC Food company has some healthy stuff and the Bento Box for sushi. Both of these are on Military Cutoff by the OC that I mentioned above.

And yes, I train to eat. Not eat to train.

This is a food competition in NC that I've used to find restaurants around the state, it worked amazingly in Blowing Rock last year. I realize that all these places aren't right in Wilmington but it might help: http://www.competitiondining.com/...014-fire-on-the-dock

Front Street Brewery was great but will probably be packed so be prepared for that!

We at at Circa 1922 last year or the year before and it was pretty good too.

Sorry can't help with pizza but there should be some at the finish line!

Brooklyn Pizza Co. is great, and it almost part of the bike course. Their meat balls pizza is awesome. Everyone that I took there and recommended that they tried always though it would be weird but they always like it.

Brooklyn is pretty good pizza.

The deli close to Front Street Brewery you referring to is most probably Chops Deli (very good sandwiches). Chops actually now also has a location near Wrightsville that serves lunch, dinner and Brunch.

Great Brunch for Sunday after race is at Pembrokes. Actually great dinner to be had at Pembrokes and also Rx downtown.

I highly recommend Rx in Wilmington. Farm to table restaurant and the menu changes pretty much every day. It's probably one of my favorite restaurants I've ever been to. I will usually go there every day when I go to Wilmington.

James Doss the chef owner of Rx also has Pembrokes ( http://www.pembrokescuisine.com that I had mentioned earlier. Might not be the be perfect for the night before the race but if you are staying the weekend then you should check out one or the other.

just to put this out there. I do work for Chef Doss on a part time basis.

That being said. I spoke with Chef and anybody who brings their race number to http://www.rxwilmington.com or http://www.pembrokescuisine.com this weekend will get 10% off of their food bill.

Happy eating and fast racing to all.

I've got a few friends who agree that Front Street Brewery is a great place to go. Haven't been there myself yet.

My wife and I enjoy going to Fox and Hound which is in the main shopping area near the movie theater. Great food and a good beer selection.

This thread has a lot of really good recommendations (and definitely going to be checking out Rx this week), but Doc Street is my post-race dinner. 16lbs of seafood probably isn't ideal, but goddamn if it isn't tasty.

Yes, I know it's grammatically incorrect. Blame AOL and their 90s-era character limits.
