I'm not sure what age group, but I saw an FB post where a guy placed 12th in his AG and still was able to claim a spot.

What I do: http://app.strava.com/athletes/345699

Yes. My friend got the roll down for his AG.
He was 12th in 30-34. That AG got a extra roll down from an unused AG.
It pays to stay until the end.
I got the last roll down that was added to my AG.

W50-54 -- old lady division
We had 130 in our AG with one spot. They gave us a second one. :)

I can confirm. The guy who won 35-39 is on my team and slots were taken by 1 and 2. No roll down.

At Raleigh 70.3, the slot for W45-49 was not claimed. At one point, Dave Ragsdale said "anyone in this AG who finished want to go to Austria?".

It was not taken and rolled to either W30-34 or W35-39, can't remember which.

Funny thing is....my girlfriend was signed up for that AG and wanted to finish faster than she did in 2013 (she had a mechanical issue on the bike but still finished). Dislocated her shoulder before the race and couldn't compete (didn't buy the race insurance either).

Pink? Maybe. Maybe not. You decide.

I raced Augusta in AG M50 to 54 and placed 17th in AG but was unable to stick around for the roll down. It will kill me to find out I missed it because I was not there. Is there anyone who can fill me in here?

Thanks Scott

Rest easy! I don't remember if it rolled, but I know it was nowhere close to 17th.

THANKS I will rest easy and work harder for next year. I am close and looking forward to making it to Australia.

FYI M65 to 69 #1 did not take the spot.
