Around 3K$ high-end tt Rig project.

I just finished building my new rig. My main purpose of this build is price efficiency because I am an undergraduate student ... (yes I am poor haha)
What do you think? Just tell me anything.

I just finished a similar type of project. Much lower budget and I semi-cheated by just transferring parts from my roadie, but I built up a 2011 cannondale slice hi mod frame as my first tri/tt bike. So satisfying and rewarding! I'm 28 and newly married with student loans, me three as a low budget athlete! Haha

Your set up is rockin. Well done sir. Curious as to whether you had fit coordinates in hand when selecting frame and building up.

Nice setup. I don't know many poor people that can drop that kind of cheddar on a bike. Hell, I just bought a used car for less.

Although I've generally never been a fan of Orbeas I have to admit that is a really sharp looking bike.

What kind of flea market has di2 parts?
I like a flea market but none round here have that kind of kit.

I love it. I love when people take frames that are a few years older and spice them up/modernize them into legit sub-super bike (that's a new category i'm starting it)

If you're patient and know your stuff you can get crazy good deals. I picked up a 2010 Scott Plasma 2 frame with a set of HED jet 6/9 wheels for $1000. I spent about $500 on a new crankset (to match my existing power meter),a new front end (pro missilie alloy bars and pro missile evo stem) and saddle. I'm keeping my eye out for a di2 setup but I think I'll wait until next year since I'll also have to mess around with my 10-speed wheels to make them 11-speed compatible.

Great build but yeah, the fact that the OP got a functioning DI2 group for <$500 is pretty extreme!

I am in South Korea. Here's a second handed marketplace 중고나라(Chunggo-Nara) where I got extremely cheap di2 parts. The parts I have were actually part of 6870 10spd di2 ultegra upgrade set. I purchased the set for 600$ And sold levers and derailleures separately, compensating finacial loss. I searched through ebay and got cheap 6870 derailleurs

Stay home, stay healthy.
