That's a pretty ride you've got there. I've been riding an AR5 around Northern Kentucky lately, it's been great for the mix of terrain around here.

I'll check out your FB thing.

The facebook page is just getting started. So far its just a couple members but 2 are UBI certified mechanics and one SICI certified bike fitter (me). I'm hoping it will grow and be forum to ask specific questions about the AR. Also to see how others personalize and set up their ride.

I got the idea from a Specialized Venge owners page that grew to have over 9K members.

That's a whole lotta road bike to go a whole lot slower than you would go on a whole lot cheaper tri bike. If that's your thing, go for it.

Had a tri bike in 2012 last time I raced IM Louisville but sold it after the season. Since then I have not been serious about triathlon. My time is limited to ride so can't justify 2 bikes (with the wife). I like this bike more each time I ride it!

Here are a few shots of my recently built up AR1. I have switched to my trusty Specialized Romin Saddle.

My new ar5/graduation gift after a 50some km ride, man I love that bike. I know the saddle is aiming down but my rides aren't under UCI ruling and my man parts prefer it to be that way. I'm gonna get all the spacers and fork cut soon enough which will shave some weight and make it look even better.
All I want now, is to get a better job and in my field asap so I can get some serious wheels and lighter, fancier parts to complete it. I'm very happy with the 105 5800 groupset so far, it's such a massive upgrade over the 5700 it was completely unexpected. It was the part of the new bike I thought was going to be the most like my old bike yet, it is really good, very silent, and the FD is so easy to pull.
I will upgrade it to either DA or Red eventually but it will mostly be to save weight so I'm in no rush to do that at all. Great bike really.
