I have problems absorbing fluids during long triathlons. Up until this point I have been taking frequent small amounts. Would it be better to take less frequent larger amounts? I read somewhere that if you fill the stomach it is prompted to empty and move things along. So if I was trying to take 16 oz in an hour for instance is it better to take 8 oz every 30 min or 4 oz every 15 min?
