Aero helmets for pumpkin sized heads
I have a big head. When I try on hats or helmets I feel like I must be the same proportions as a bobble head doll. I am trying to find a helmet to suit my size 64 head. My regular bike helmet is an XL Bell and it fits fine. My ski helmets are usually XXL. I tried the LAS Cronometro which was supposedly one size fits all but it turned out to be one size fits all but one. Luckily, it fits my wife just fine so she is good to go.

A lot of the aero helmets end at Large and some are Small and Medium only.

Any ideas are appreciated!

I typically wear a 63cm helmet and a 7 5/8 - 7 7 3/4 fitted hat. The only aero helmet I found that fit even decently well were the Louis Garneau helmet. I tried a few on in store and the Super Leggera and the Vortice both fit roomy. If those don't work, you might be out of luck.

I wear a 7-7/8 or 8 in Fitted hats, anything smaller gives me a serious headache. I have a Giro Advantage 2 in size large, and it does fit, barely, but it does! Putting it on quickly in T1 is a challenge, but I get through it.

My head size is 62. I purchased a Rudy Project Syton Supercomp size large and it was too big for me. I ended up buying another one (size small/medium). You may want to give it a try:

I frequently make comments that in pictures I look like I was photoshopped in at the wrong scale. My Giro Advantage 2 fits pretty well, though when in a hurry in T1 the ear flaps need pulled open to pop it over my skull.

I'm beginning to think that we are much more fucked than I thought.

I've seen this helmet fit fine on a big headed friend of mine. http://www.trisports.com/lazer-tardiz.html

^^^Same boat. The LG helmets (chrono and Super Leggera) have worked for me.

+1 on the Lazer Tardiz. I've got a massive dome and it fits great w/ room to spare, but not bulky.

POC ski helmets, spine protectors, and the like are really good stuff. I would like to see that in something other than blaze orange tho.
