Advice needed: training laptop / ipad stand

I have a set-up with:
A kickr + triathlon bike on a mat, with a fan in front.

I'm looking for a perfect laptop/ipad stand so I can run trainer road, control netflix, etc on the laptop.
This is what I've found so far:

I just DIY with my trainer next to a workbench, microphone stand with iPad holder (ala DCRainmaker), and iPhone on mic boom. However, if money in no object, I saw these at IMMoo and they looked sweet:

Ironing board. They put everything at the perfect height plus plenty of room for other things (small fan, remotes, etc.) The best part is just about everywhere has one if you end up traveling with your trainer.

I should say that I use a walmart tv tray for drinks on one side of the bike...

That cost less than 10 bucks.

I hear you, they are definitely up there in price. However, if anyone were genuinely interested in their stuff, I can say that first hand it is really high quality.

Yeah defo thanks for the suggestion :)

Just, I've realized thousands of dollars can easily be spent buying something only marginally more functional !

I run a tablet on a music stand that was about $25 from amazon. My wife puts her laptop on a counter next to her trainer. I like the music stand because I can straddle the front tire with it to get it pretty much right in front of me.

CTA Digital Universal Height-Adjustable Gooseneck Floor Stand for Tablets (PAD-UAFS) https://www.amazon.com/...er_awd_Feeewb4CTBWF5

That's what I got for my iPad, and couldn't be happier. Just does the iPad, so you'd need something else for a laptop.

Music stand for sure.

I have a really heavy duty one that is designed well and is perforated for air flow to the back of my laptop.

I use a TV tray for drinks on one side and another in front of me for my laptop when I am watching triathlon live.

Easy, effective, and cheap since I already have TV trays. Haven't had an issue to date.

+1 for music stand. helped that i had one anyway for actual music stuff, but it works really well for a laptop on the trainer.

Bluetooth wireless keyboard with build-in touchpad, then put the laptop/ipad on anything flat. Keeps the expensive laptop away from the waterfall of sweat and/or sweaty fingers, and lets you have the keyboard closer.

The laptop I used to use directly when on the trainer has had touchpad problems ever since. I feel lucky that the keyboard still works well.
