Adding Inline Wireless to Ultegra 8050

Am I able to purchase the EW-WU111 and attach it to battery or do I have to take everything apart on my TT bike to connect to junction? Would be much easier to just remove seat post and add the inline adapter.

Give it a shot. I have a transmitter in my seatpost and it works just fine. Depending on everything, it be too weak a signal.

Mine is attached to the battery inside my carbon frame and works fine. YMMV.

I did exactly what you describe.
I used the shortest (150mm) E-tube wire to bridge the gap between the wireless unit and the battery.
