Visited Lanzarote (and Tenerife and Gran Canaria) a few times in my teens, and the scenery shots make me want to go back.

Yea, I thought they set the bar much higher than most productions. G;ad you guys enjoyed it. Being a photographer, I thought it was exceptional in the "run of the mill" stuff we see weekly.

I see a clear rule violation on the descent when the rider takes the left lane on the divided curve.
We need to identify him and make this a DQ.

Nice video! Degasperi looks good. He could be a contender in Kona.

I raced this year and met a good friend of mine who did the filming for the swim and the bike section 'from inside'. For the swim he had a gopro strapped on his chest and took the start. There are other footage showing very well what happens in a start in the middle of the pack (not shown on this video though). On his road bike he had three cameras, one at the front between his bars, two at the back on on each side of the wheel.

I have no desire to do an IM distance race but I think when the time comes this video just convinced me which one to do.

Welp, in a couple years when I take up IRON-Distance stuff again, I know which race I am doing.
