9W Parking
Hey All,

Any advice as to where I can park when riding 9W? Anyone have any idea if it's possible to even park on the NYC side? I was surprised at the metered parking at the jersey side. The price isn't bad, I'm just nervous I would run over time wise.

Thanks

Our club usually meets at the Englewood Boat Basin in Palisades park. Haven't been there since summer of 2013, but it was free parking back then. I assume it still is (although limited space, we usually got there before 7 am and were fine)

I park there, then ride to Bear mtn and back. My car is there for at least 4-5 hours. You can also park down in the boat basin or at a metered Municipal lot in Fort Lee. That's what I did for NY Gran Fondo.

I heard from an inside source that they are going to start clamping down much more on bikers parked at the meters on 9W (around Fort Lee at least). That said if you park a few blocks into town there are plenty of places to park. If you ride early you'll get spots before the shoppers.

I park at one of the shopping centers after making friends with one of the attendants who also cycles and said I'd be fine.

I park right off Hudson Terrace road, on Allison Park Place. There's a huge parking lot with a scenic overlook at the end. It safe, free and easy access to 9W.

Yeah. Go to the end of that road and you'll see the parking lot.
