There were tons of spots that rolled. I was quite surprised. There was one or two AG's that they called for 'anyone' in the AG, and I think one time nobody claimed the spot so it was reallocated. I think that M40-44 may have had 8 slots for the WC.

On a side note, the process of waiting to get the slots until after awards sucks. In the past you used to be able to claim a slot before awards, but I didn't end up leaving the race site until 6:00 today! That's a lot of waiting around.

Curious how far the 30-34 AG spots went.

Ended up pulling out after the bike unfortunately - screwed up my lead up hydration unfortunately, and my race was over before it started. Oh well, win some, you DNF some.

This has always been this way at this race. When there were Kona slots it was a zoo. I remember a few times leaving there at like 7 PM. Definitely a long day especially if you drag your little ones to the race with you.

The last slot for AG M30-34 went to 17.

based on race starters M40-44 had 8 slots. I took a pic of the sheet and allocations after the race but it's too large a file to upload and I'm on my mobile. I believe M40-44 got one more too during the process, for a total of 9. I'm not sure how far deep it went based on people passing the slots or not attending the slot allocation and missing their chance.
