i must be the only person that doesn't like these bibs.

I'm still trying to decide if I like my 400 mile shorts (10 months old). They are damn tight around the legs and when I climb (seated) they tend to want to slide down my arse. I have to pull them up high and tie the draw string tight to keep them in the right position. I've already had to send them back once for the stitching coming undone around the pad so the jury is still out on how well they will last (bar is set high from my 10year old Perl Izumis). On the plus siide they are comfortable at 4hr + on my new Cobb saddle. And I do like the little pockets on the sides (good for keys, gels).

Uh. Bibs?

I know. But I gots to pee (frequently).

Did a 50 mile ride today.Had a little bit left sided crotch rub.I was a little disappointed that the shorts were not as comfertable for a 21/2 hour ride.I think there is probable a break in period for almost any shorts,so i think after a few more washing ,they will get better. I try just a bit more body glide on next ride.

These must be absolutely trI-specific....i've tried them, asolutely hated them, and don't know a single series roadie who rides them. For the same $$ you can buy (on a team deal) capo or similar top-of-the-line road bibs, heck even a pair of lower/middle-of-the-road assos (which are better than all but the very best capo et all) on ebay.

Triathletes really seem to accept some inferior gear choices "b/c everyoneelse does it".

“There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.” John Rogers

They are nice! My bike team is sponsored by a local custom apparel maker.. . I can't wait for them to have something as unobtrusive yet comfy.

Any decent pair of bibs (and those are) will let you pee by pulling the front down. Now #2.... You got to undress or go Florida Man style.
