Hear there is another event in the planning stages - called "The Bunny Adventure" - to be held in Las Vegas in December 2006--rumor is it is a 2.4 mile swim followed immediately by the Las Vegas Marathon. The guys organizing it have rented a pool and are in the planning stages for hotel room rates and a shuttle from the pool to the marathon start-----all to be followed by lots of partying...kind of a super biathlon..

i don't believe the agenda is confirmed--so possible--maybe they would add in a 112 bike with the turnaround at the ranch.....but the name of the event could be related to that venue.....

There's group of guys in So. Cal that would ride out to Las Vegas on Friday & Saturday (+/- 250 miles) and then do the Marathon on Sunday. Most of the ride took place on I15. Your deal sounds much more civilized.

The Bunny Ranch is eight hours north of Vegas in Carson City.
