I am saving the date...questionable due to job situation (currently unemployed).
This time I will have actually finished Oceanside 70.3 and may be up for some longer rides.
Fingers crossed for better weather this year.

Yes.

We really only have one rule..no drama. You can train or not train. Run only. Ride only. Drink coffee and wine only. Every year it's been a really great group of ladies, all of whom met as strangers and we all end up getting along great. And Monty as our "Den Mother".

To get a flavor of camp, here are Erika's blog posts from the first two years. Then keep clicking "newer posts" to read through.

"Monty, being the man that he is, passed on a wonderful compliment to all of the ladies present. He said, "You are the type of people that say you are going to do something and then you go out and do it. I like that and that's why we all get along so well." Absolutely. We were a group of people who met over the internet but took the opportunity to meet in person and SHOWED UP TO HAVE A REALLY GOOD TIME. We couldn't have done it better. It was amazing."

I went this last year and these womens are amazing, every single one of them. I don't ride anymore so enjoyed long walks and drinking coffee. It was a great chance for me to relax and take some much needed down time.

I have it on my schedule in 2013. As long as life doesn't throw me another giant curve ball I will be there!

Edited to add: Monty is hands down one of the nicest, funniest and most gracious hosts I've ever met. And he is an awesome cook! As the token boy he fit right in with the girls.

Hmmmm...you actually picked one of the only weekends in spring that I don't have a volleyball commitment for my girls. Seriously considering. Thanks for the advanced notice.

I'd echo what Cathy said. I've come to these camps a number of times with large groups and small and it's always been a really great group of women of all levels and abilities. In addition to the blog posts that Cathy posted, I've written a few for last years camp and the one I went to previously in 2009. (scroll forward to see subsequent posts of camp.)

Last year: http://parentheticalstatement.wordpress.com/.../13/unlucky-weather/

2009: http://parentheticalstatement.wordpress.com/2009/04/09/opening-day/

And thanks Cathy for the super-advanced notice. I'm pencilling it in on my calendar. Hopefully, we'll get more cooperation from the weather gods this year! :-)

I am so there! ST womens are the absolute best (including Monty and family). Hope Jordan/Jill and Emilio/Tracy can join us this year, too.

I'm going to start training for the margarita mile as soon as I'm over the stomach thing that flattened me at IMC.

I remember my thoughts when I first got to camp years ago. Visions of a "Surfin' Safari" were quickly doused by SNOW!

SSP, I think we ride the same size XS Kuota. Do you know if there are bikes that size at the camp?

Slowman does not keep smurf-size bikes unfortunately-I think we small people using 650 wheels may be on the endangered species list ;-)

However, since I now live close by, I will bring both my tri bike and my Trek road bike in my car. You are welcome to ride the road bike instead of bringing your own...

Thanks for the offer. Now I'm going to work on seeing if I can make the cross country trip work.

Dang, I was hoping it would coincide with spring break. If Snackie keeps her grades up maybe we can play hookie for a couple of days of riding in SoCal.
