With our second edition of SwimRun NC almost upon us it is awesome to note that we have roughly half and half male / female fields with a slight edge to the males. A third teams are male, about a third teams female and a third are mixed.

In Europe that is not so. Male teams dominate, with mixed teams much smaller and female team participation very small.
