I love the pink cables and pedals. A very subtle touch of femininity.

Thanks for all the compliments. It is exactly what we were going for... girly yet subtle and one of a kind and comfortable all while on a budget. Many of the parts were bought here on slowtwitch or on ebay. I already had the profile set up and I supported the LBS on the rest (which gives me a super discount anyways).

That is a great looking bike! I guess it depends on your definition of "girly". Yours is definitely pink though :) I like the matching helmet and wheel decals.

Great looking bike, but my husband thinks your seat is too low.

is the butterfly painted on? a sticker? it looks 'raised' in the picture. (does that affect aerodynamics ;-)

did anyone say "your seat's too high" yet or do we just do that on the other forum?

maybe she's born with it, maybe it's chlorine

i wouldn't really call that a girly bike... probably the only girly things on it are the butterfly that nobody else will be able to see, the pink pedals and housing.

the white frame looks like sex no matter who's riding on it!

btw, are those pedals Light Action speedplays? if so, does your wife have issues with her shoes staying clipped into the pedals while running out of t1 and into t2?

inquiring minds want to know!

The butterfly is a sticker/decal and it is raised. We found it in the scrapbooking section of a local store. The butterfly is pretty meaningful to my wife so it's in a good place to see often as she rides. :)

They are the light action pedals and she did have some issues clipping into them at first but it has since gotten better. So far, no triathlons so I can't say much for t1 and t2.
