My daughter is so awesome
Yesterday my youngest girl (cute little blond 6yo) was down in our gym lifting weights about 3-4 times which was odd. She likes to do that once in a while but nothing more than a couple minutes. I asked her later why she was doing that and said "to get strong". When I asked her why she wants to be strong she said, "because last year in gym class one of the boys said that boys are stronger than girls and I want to be stronger than him this year." Man her future husband is going to have to be a real hard-ass!

She also said "I'm going to be really sore tomorrow" I wonder where she got that from ;-)

That rocks. She's going to be hell in a few years, but I hope she never changes!

That's awesome. Can we dote on our kids for a second? My 4 year old son tells me before dinner the other night, "sorry dad, I have to get my miles in before I can eat dinner." I curiously laugh like "oh this should be good." So he runs up and down the hall about 3 times, comes back to the table and says, "Dad, ask me how my run was." So I ask. And he reply's with a heavy sigh likes he's just ran 20 miles, "it was hard, but felt pretty good." Then he sits down and eats. Classic!

You are right... wonder where they get that from??? :-)

So cute! Makes me wanna get some kids, or maybe borrow. Feel free to dote, I'm pretty sure The Womens likes kids.

Your 4yo should meet my 6yo - they'd be racing a 50 yard dash in no time!

Yes the cute times are to make up for all the times they drive you crazy. The other day she fed the dog some bbq ribs on the carpet I just cleaned that day. I look forward to just borrowing the children if I'm a grandma someday.
