For those of you with DeSoto Tri suit... how do you wash yours? I don't want to put it in the washing machine but I don't feel like rinsing is enough? Is detergent safe?

I put all my stuff in the washer. Gentle cycle, warm.
I don't have a DeSoto Tri suit but have shorts, they have done fine so far. I do only wear them for racing though, not training.

400 Mile DSoto shorts that I bought 2 years ago have been through 50+ washes & low heat dries. They are still going strong.
