I've actually had to make a couple posts on the tri side. But then those posts look exactly like they have for the last 10 years.

Maybe I should pick some random special interest forum that I know nothing about to go hang out there for some variety. I wonder if I can raise some hell on a quilters forum or something.

I clicked on the link and was welcomed with a banner advertisement for Rudy Project sunglasses. Maybe participants on the semi-pro panpacific quilting tour actually use sunglasses....I'll have to research this further.

Totally agree. Almost every thread turns into some political or religious debate. See the Rob hip surgery thread as an example. Even when I try to jump in I hear the same exact stuff to the point where I can write the responses myself and save everyone the hassle. *yawn*

In general we are smart and creative people. There must be more to talk about!

Agree. I don't post as often, because of the hard polarization. I already know what either end thinks on an issue before I come here, and want to see folks here argue about the gray area in the middle, where reality will probably dictate the responses, if not the solutions.
