-rice cakes with peanut butter
-scrambled egg whites with arugula and spinach
-grilled chicken with a spring mix salad
-5 fried meatballs/12 buffalo wings/9 beers

Apparently when the sun goes down, so do my eating habits. At least everything was air-fried.

An everything bagel with cheese and scrambled egg at the Naples airport. It cost me $11 and my stomach is already expressing its displeasure with my choice.

You ate rice cakes with peanut butter? Styrofoam isn't good for you. Next time you're hungry and can't afford it, maybe try your local food bank, they have real food there.

A typical day for me:

breakfast: overnight oats in vanilla almond milk with blueberries
On the way to work: either a PBJ or boiled egg and cheese sandwich

Lunch: bowl with rice, sweet potato, avacado, cashews, chicken breast and spinach, maybe and apple, banana, possibly a can of tuna with crackers or boiled egg.

Dinner: we mix it up, but it's usually home cooked and reasonably healthy. Except for Friday, when I go to my favourite burger place and eat like it's my last meal before execution (and sometimes the next morning wake up feeling like I wish I had been killed!).

typical day for me,

Soft boiled egg on toast, maybe a glass of milk and a piece of fruit.
Fruit for snack,
Lunch is usually full course with at least 3 steamed vegetables, meat & probably a 1/2 potatoe.
Supper is about the same as lunch maybe a bit smaller.

I'm glad you don't too, it would make me hungry.

Honestly, I was hoping the posts would be about the weird stuff, not the normal(ish) crap we eat every day. Rollmops, well I can tell you I don't remember the texture being so bad. Just fn nasty. OTOH, I was willing to try them one more time. Now I know, I really don't like them.

Herring Roll Mops

I had to google this. I was guessing it was either (a) actual herring or (b) some sort of candy.

- cliff bar and coffee
- 3 purple tootsie rolls from planet fitness
- couple handfuls of sour cream and cheddar Ruffles
- modern Greek salad at Panera, sprouted grain roll w/ butter
- 4 individually wrapped Dove milk chocolates, 1 cup whole milk yogurt (mixed plain/vanilla)
- vegetable barley soup, 4 hard boiled eggs wrapped in swiss cheese
- will probably have 2 pieces of toast with peanut butter and jelly later

Today she made pancakes for breakfast. Beef stew for dinner with roasted pears for dessert.

I had to make my own lunch since she got lazy, but at least she is doing the dishes now.

ETA - it is pretty nice to have a spouse who's main hobby is cooking and also doesn't think I am capable of keeping her kitchen properly organized.

Cheat day on my low carbohydrate diet:

Dark Hollow bourbon barrel aged imperial stout with a Camacho triple maduro cigar, and some other stuff. Like salad and shit.

TIA 4 homemade biscuits with butter. 2 large (16 oz) cups of coffee. 3 pieces Papa John 3 cheese pizza. 1 mini Coke. 1 bowl Top Ramen, with shredded cheese, frozen peas & corn. 3 bowls Cocoa Puffs.

This list is complete. I had no water or non-caffeinated drinks.

I was wondering why I felt so "blah" today.

The recycling facilities near me don't accept styrofoam. Just doing what I can to lessen the amount in our landfills.
