Can I move my Verizon FiOS line on my own?

My house is two rectangles, the original larger rectangle, and the added on rectangle in the back. The FiOS wire connects to my house, looking from the street, almost to the back of the right side of the original portion of the house. See below in red. I show where it wraps around to the back of the house, then enters, and snakes around in my family room, going above two doors, back down a wall and then behind to the TV. I hate how there is about 25 feet of cable wire, it looks bad and I'm waiting on my 15 month old son to rip it off. We are in the middle of repainting this room so I want to move it.
My plan, in GREEN, is to make it not wrap around the house, and instead enter the family room by taking it underneath and in the crawl space (have to drill a hole through brick, no biggie), and then have it go up into the room (will have to drill through floor, more of a biggie if I screw it up.
Better options? Do I have to get Verizon's permission? Should I have them do it?
I don't want to screw it up and be without cable and internet for 4 days as I cut some wires and attempt to move it and it fails...

You have a FiOS actually inside your house? It's not copper inside, with FiOS up to your house? If not, I think if you relocate it on your own you void the line coverage Verizon extends up to the edge of your house but that's not a big deal if you know what you're doing and you can tolerate the approx. $60/hour technician fee if Verizon has to come in and fix something in the future. If they have that service protection program thing similar to what Comcast and Brighthouse and all the other crook cable companies have you might want to spend the $3 to $5/month they charge for that if you move that line on your own. Engineering-wise, it's a simple relocation. And I'd find out why the original installation technicians took that route, because maybe that's the only way they could, so get into that crawspace, if you haven't already, and make sure you can lay out your line in that manner.

I have run my own cable, cat5 ethernet, and phone lines, Each takes special tools to do correctly. I would think fiber optic would be the same way. I was checking youtube and could not find any fios installation videos for diy types. I would think if you can't find how to info, or the parts/tools at radio shack, then you don't want to do this yourself.
It would be interesting what verison company says regarding responsibility. For copper phone lines, Verison is responsible to the box they attached to my house, and I am responsible for any problems after that.

The tools cost far too much for a DiY person...but, the cable is not that fragile. Take it down cover the end of the glass...move it like Coax...deal with the extra. I have the tools for ST/SC ends...not cheap.

Ok, you could move it within the room, but i thought he wanted to re-route it outside to come in the side of the house. Which i figured would requre cutting optic cables. Maybe I misunderstood, if not, i don't think you want to be cutting the cables or move verizon;s outside box on your own.

The box on the outside of your wall is the demarc box which marks the edge of what verizon owns. If you tamper with or move the box, they can get pissy with you. Do you even have the tool to open up the telco half? It's usually a security head bolt. As was mentioned, telcom fiber isn't all that fragile, but you can't treat it like coax. It does have its own special installation tolerances to things like minimum bend radius.....and if you do manage to break or nick it...splicing it is not a DIY job. It takes special equipment and someone who knows what they are doing.
Can't you just run the cable to the TV under the floor?
sometimes you just have to eat the cake

This as BK put it was in fact pretty simple, especially based on what you are describing correctly as the origin of wires etc.
I was able to put it in the crawl space, with a good bit of effort, but it was pretty simple.
Did suffer some medium grade fiberglass insulation itchiness though, I hate that s**t.

Just pull the existing wire, but be carefull not to fuck up the connector end then re-route it per your plan through the brick etc.
Figure out the length you need and just coil wrap the excess, just don't bend the cable > 45deg or you might fuck shit up.
Moving it should not be that hard, but cutting and terminating fiber optic cable is not DIY, unless you have all the tools.
