Low Stack Aero Bars/Systems
I've traded a couple of emails with Slowman about the Profile Aeria Ultimate. Posting here instead of the main forum.

I'm looking for a low stack aero bar set up for an athlete. Probably she should have a 48cm P3, but is on a 51cm. The stock 3T Aura Pro are too tall, and I'd like to be able to tilt the extensions if it is an integral set. I'd have to check since the fit was done back in August, but I think that she's on no spacers and a flat stem right now. I don't know if I want to go to an adjustable stem.

We're looking at the existing TriRig and the newer Profile Aeria Ultimate. Are there any others that need to be considered...Enve, HED, other 3T model?

What are her coordinates?
Pad XY (to back, incl cushion)
Pad Width (centres)
Aerobar length (back of pad to tip of extensions)

How low is low?

Is something like the Profile Design V+ series adequate?

I'll check, I don't have pad x/y. But, once the bike is back from tri bike transport I can get that.

I put a -25 degree, 105mm stem on the bike (P3). Again, keeping the basebar flat and tilting the bars/pads is one adjustment that the 3T bars on it lack.

A bit of surmise required here while we wait for more data
Assuming 9mm headset cover, 3T Aura Comfort with pads in back position (and just using the base pad position - ignoring the reach and stack impact of wider pad positions) would give PXY:
432,598
Or an Aerobar XY of 35,92

Using an XY tolerance for search of 5mm:

PD Aeria Ultimate would have space to go down another 20mm - so decent clearance between basebar and pads
Enve SES with team stem can also hit the XY in overmount position, but is very limited for pad width so that is something to watch for
Can just hit that XY on Tririg Alpha X with tilt bracket and Ergo pads and overmount. Don't want undermount as then the pads don't tilt

To get low stack on Zipp you lose the tilt, would need full coordinates to calculate for Vuka Aero
Hed not really in the picture compared to the adjustability of other brands now.
