Putting out feelers to see where I might stand on a project bike.
Requirements: road frame from a big name manufacturer with good reputation in a small size (I am 5'7" and ride a 51 P4 super slammed as a TRI bike), double chain ring, 10 speed RD, preferably lower end (like Trek One Series or Giant Defy for instance).
Preferences (not required): Aluminum, SRAM (GXP BB most importantly), easy to maintain, nearer to SE Louisiana the better
I am not well versed in road bikes, I wouldn't mind buying new if something perhaps comes to mind, please feed me a recommendation that I could go research.
edited to update requested specifications.
