Hello, I am a newbie on ST and the classifieds portion. I wanted to watch for a fresh thread that used certain lingo and ask two questions:

First, I often see reference to a PM. I assume that means "private mail." Assuming I am correct, how is that done?

Second, though it does not appear in this thread, I quite often see the word "bump." Could someone tell me what that means?

to send a private message you click on a person's user name, which takes you to their profile page. in the bottom right corner is a button to send a private message.

anytime you reply to a thread it is sent to the top of the page. people selling things often reply to their own thread, thereby "bumping" it to the top of the page to maintain visibility.
