Perhaps others have experienced this, but it was a first for me and I thought I'd seen all of the scams.
Scammers are posting bikes to Craigslist but have a local phone number listed in the reply options. The phone number kicks to a Google voice account with a local area code so it seems legitimate. I wasn't alarmed by the Google voice account since it's perfectly reasonable to me that someone would use a different phone number for something like CL, but the call back and/or email back is a typical scam (item located out of the area, they'll send you an invoice, ebay will take care of contacting you if you provide your personal info, etc.). It may be worth masking your phone number if you call on a local CL ad, even if the ad appears to have a local area code.
