I ordered a brand new Shimano 6800 170mm crank set with the 52/36 chain rings to replace the 6700 10-speed crank on my bike. Sometimes I get to excited and don't think things through well enough and found a great deal on this crank, but am now rethinking the mid-compact gearing. Its pretty flat in my part of the world so a 52/36 will work, but if I take a trip to a more hilly area of the country, I think I'd be hurting. I should have purchased a compact set and would like to trade or buy a new 50t outer ring to swap onto my crank along with the 36t. I'd also be okay with getting a 50/34 set. Anyone want a mid-compact 52/36 Shimano 6800 chain ring set?
