Tri bike with SRAM Red for under $1000

2004 Cannondale Ironman 2000 - wait a 2004 bike???

However, it is seriously upgraded (see below) and the bike as is is one of the fastest bikes in any given triathlon, a bike that can compete with the $10K super bikes and is the fastest bike you will find under $3,000. In fact, I can't find a triathlon bike with SRAM Red for under $1500 making this bike at least $500 cheaper than any equally equipped bike. Please note, that I have removed the BTA (between the arms) hydration, pedals, and seat from my race setup. This bike comes without pedals and with the standard wheels though I will include my race wheels, which I am also selling for $100 off what I have them listed for:

The Ironman 2000 frame was used to win Kona in 2006. This actual bike I am selling has placed top 50% in USAT nationals and Ironman 70.3 World Championships. In other words it is fast. It is also light making it great for climbing.

And, it is one of the prettiest triathlon bikes you will see on race day. I always get comments on how good it looks. This doesn't make you faster, but it sure doesn't hurt.

Oh, and I used to work as a mechanic in a bike store and I keep the bike very well maintained.

See specifics below with the year in parentheses and please check out the pictures.
