Garage Sale - Custom Sidis, Powermeters Galore, and EE Brakes. Quote | Reply

Custom colored Sidi Ergo 2 - Size 43.5 - Slightly used but in otherwise awesome condition - $275 shipped CONUS.

Rotor 3D+ SRM - 130BCD, 53/39 Q Rings - $2150

Quarq Spider for Cannondale Hollowgram SiSL Cranks - $1250

I am selling my Quarq. It is a 130BCD spider for Cannondale Hollowgram cranks. I am willing to sell the spider only for just $1250. Or I will sell the spider, cranks, and SRM compatible spindle and washers for $1750. If I sell it complete, I will include the 53/38 FSA chainrings. The cranks are custom finished black cranks with no Cannondale or Hollowgram logos anywhere.

That shoe is 43.5, but I went to look for it yesterday and can't find it. I know I have it, just need to track it down. I do have them new in 43.5 and 44 for $350, and would take 275 for a 44.5 and a 45.5 that I have in better condition than the 43.5 in the photo. Let me know.

Thanks!

The Rotor crank is the 3D+ which uses a 30mm spindle and with the right bottom bracket can accomodate any bottom bracket standard.

According to their website its a BB30 crank, which means it wouldnt fit a a non BB30 frame since the spindle diameter is too large. At least thats what I believe. Im interested in crank but need to sell a few things. Any interest in trades?

The diameter of the spindle is not the limiting factor in putting a 30mm spindle into a non-BB30 frame, the width is. A BB30 spindle is 30mm wide but as narrow as a BSA spindle. The difference being the inboard bearings on the BB30 spindle and therefor the narrower U factor.

This Rotor 3D+ crank is actually a BBRight standard that will easily fit a non-BB30 frame or a BSA frame with the use of a Rotor BSA30 bottom bracket. Super easy! It's the same as a standard BSA bottom bracket but with 30mm bearings instead of 24mm bearings!

Isnt a BB30 bike have a larger (42mm) shell and a english BB something smaller. I could be totally wrong and didnt mean to jack your thread. I was originally asking because Im interested in crank. Anyway looks like it will work with a specialized BB30 frame.

No worries about jacking a thread. I don't sweat anybody asking questions and helping to answer them. Yes, a BB30 does have a larger shell. It needs it because it carries the larger bearings inboard. A BSA frame has a smaller shell, that will still easily accomodate a 30mm spindle, it just carries the bearings outside the shell. Think Shimano, Campy, and SRAM GXP, but with 30mm bearings instead of 24. The 30mm spindle still fits through the shell.

This is how FSA's 386EVO crank works and how Rotor's BBRight cranks work. A BB30 crank won't work because the spindle is too short, not too big.

The article does a good job of explaining the different bottom bracket standards and the image at the top shows an overlay of the different frame dimensions. It would be great to have a similar diagram for spindles or to have the spindles included to help visualize the difference.

What length are the hollow gram crank arms? would you trade a chorus 11 crankset for just the arms? jdperlmutter@gmail.com

It is. I have someone looking to pick it up, but no cash exchanged yet. I did not agree to hold it so until it's paid for, it's available!

The Quarq was bought last summer/fall and used on a bike from October through December.
