Bianchi Cross Project Cyclocross bike - BEAUTIFUL!!!

2001 Bianchi Cross Project Cyclocross bike - $850

This is a beautiful bike. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a little too big for me, so I've got to sell it. Even if you don't race cyclocross, a cross bike is a perfect winter trainer, as you can battle the weather with bigger tires and fenders. The fatigue life of steel far surpasses aluminum while providing a much better ride, and who can argue with the Italian beauty of a Celeste green Bianchi frame?

- Seat tube length: 56cm c-t-c.
- Head tube length: 58.5cm c-t-c.
- Dedaccia Acciaio 18 MCDV6 Steel tubing (frame and fork), lugged and brazed. Bianchi Celeste in color.
- Shimano 600 (Ultegra equivalent) 8 speed STI shifters/brake levers.
- Shimano 105 head set.
- Dia-Compe brakes.
- Suntour XC Pro 38/48 crank set with 175mm crank arms.
- Shimano Deore LX front derailleur.
- Shimano XTR rear derailleur.
- Shimano XT 11/28 cassette.
- Dean Titanium seat post.
- Cane Creek Crono X Cross 8/9/10 speed Shimano compatible wheels.
- Michelin CycloCross Mud tires, Bianchi Celeste color.
- Nitto handlebars
- WTB titanium rail saddle
- Ringle Zooka stem
- Quill adaptor so you can use any standard threadless stem.
- Horizontal rear dropouts, so it could be built up as a single speed rig, if that's your thing.
- Small bottle of Bianchi Celeste touch-up paint included.
- Shimano 105 SPD pedals included.

It really bums me out to sell this bike, it's so incredible. It has some very minor scuffing from cable rub and chain slap (now protected by a new Lizard Skin chainstay protector). Aside from the chain-slap and cable-rub, the frame and fork's paint are in remarkable condition - I'd give it a 9 - 9.5 out of 10.
