what is the width of the wheels?

These are 23s. They weigh 1796g.

Are these carbon with the aluminum brake surface? Hence not needing dedicated brake pads? Probably a dumb question since the materials are obviously different between the brake tracks and dish sections, but thought I'd ask to be sure.
