Bike handling for everyone

1. Ride straight.

2. Be predictable.

3. Use all the course legal parts of the road in a corner when you are fast, when your pace is slow leave room on both sides so you don't close the door on anyone.

So for anyone new, practice riding straight, don't swerve suddenly and find a nice line through any corner.

I used to be a motorcycle road racer and instructor and all those things held true at 170mph. The only twist and it is a wise rule to follow on a bicycle is that the person in front of you has the right-away. Whether you like that or not any contact with your front wheel to the rear of that persons bike will usually cause disaster for you. Practicing that on grass will help big time, but that rider in front still controls your destiny and makes the 1 2 3 above critical for them and you.
