That does look cool. If it actually works, something like that could have a significant and positive effect on people's lives.

Looks like it's brand new ("pre-order now!")

Not a lot of information on the site...what if you HAVE to be up by 7:00 am, will it wake you sometime before that when you reach your optimal waking state, or...?

Scandinavians have deep dark winters, and are wake up experts. I bought a Swedish "Alarm Light" in Finland. It mimics sun rise gradually giving a full "happy light" (anti S.A.D.) at wake time along with a gentle tone if you like. It's a better way to wake up if you're generally up before dawn. I picked it up in '96 and it has worked faultlessly for ten years. Actually this is the most I've thought about it in that time.
