I just finished a really excellent book. It is called Shalimar the Clown by Salman Rushdie. The book is about a Pakistani Muslim boy (actually from Kashmir) and how he becomes a terrorist/assassin. There are about 5 main characters that are sensationally developed. I always prefer books that have strong characters, so this is probably one reason I am so high on this book right now.
This is the first time I have ever read a Rushdie book. If anyone else has read this, is it typical of his style?
I think a lot of people would really like this book. I give it a thumbs up approval.
