Apple Quicktime question
I have a nikon digital camera that will take time lapse photos - only, it puts the photos into a quicktime movie - does anyone know if it is possible to extract the images individually, rather than a movie file?

Two methods I can think of:
1. Buy QT Pro for $30 - allows you to save movies in different formats. Save a frame as a JPEG, or whatever.

2. Play the movie in the free QuickTime player. Stop on the frame of interest. Take a screen grab and crop to the image in a paint program like Photoshop.

If you have a Mac, you just import the .mov file into iMovie, move the playhead to whatever location you want, then use the "Save Frame" option
