I can tell you from personal experience that the Magnolia Bakery has kickin' cupcakes. It's sort of a New York thing, but it is a little strange to see a line down the block for cupcakes at 10 pm on a Saturday night, with a small park across the street covered in hipsters wolfing down frosting.
