I don't think you are going to see a trend of a lot of players getting guaranteed money. But when someone has the leverage that Cousins has they will certainly get more guaranteed money than a run of the mill DB or OL.
Too much injury risk for most players. But a lot of players get a big chunk of guaranteed money in the form of signing bonus. But you aren't going to see that for guys making the minimum.
