Felt IA front brake (Tri max and brake pads)
I’m trying to take out the pads from the vision front brake but they will not budge. Before I go any further, I’m swapping out pads for carbon wheels. Do I need to bother? I can’t find if the pads are only for aluminum brake tracks.

You probably do need special pads for carbon wheels. What pads does the manufacturer recommend? I would expect that information to be included with the wheels (if bought new) or one the website.

.

Once, I was fast. But I got over it.

Instead of swapping pads, get brake pad holders, put in the carbon specific pads, then when using carbon wheels replace the holders. It's easier and faster than putting in/taking out brake pads.

Yes you need to change the pads unless you want to ruin carbon wheels

Okay, I figured it out... the first pad I tried to pull out was slightly torn on the inside and was snagging as I tried to pull it out. The snag would not allow it to move. I had to rip out the pad with pliers Resolved!
