Trump, the Playboy Bunny, and "catch and kill"

One of the more interesting (and important) aspects of this, if true, is the amount of leverage the publisher would have over Trump.

So who is supposed to hold blackmail leverage over President Trump today? Is it Putin and the Russians? The ones we smoked hundreds of a few weeks ago in Syria?

So the guy stepped out on his wife--many times even? The blow hard is what he is so i just don't see that as being leverage or blackmail material. Blow hard seems totally impervious to that--may even be proud of that?

So proud of it that his personal lawyer shells out six figures to keep a similar story under wraps? Trump has denied all sorts of stuff that he probably is proud of, but even he knows would be bad for him if word got out. That's how blackmail (or "leverage") works.

i don't agree--which is not to say i am 'right'

i think it was more of a "we got to get elected" thing so they suppressed these stories as best they could to get him elected. Now that he's in power who gives a shit? Folks are always talking up (particularly YOU on the left) how sophisticated the Euros are and it doesn't matter if a President has a mistress.....etc

so here you are. a President with a sordid past.? Maybe even a sordid present?

Now can we get back to what he's trying to do and whether or not that is a good thing for our Country? Could you bring that to our collective table instead of this NY Post kinda shit?

"Goes to character."

I can evaluate whether or not what he's trying to do is a good thing (funding infrastructure) or a bad thing (a wall between the US and Mexico). But at the same time, chasing after porn stars and Playmates during three marriages is pretty sleazy. This has an impact on whatever he wants to do.

totally agree

blackmail material? leverage?

how do you shame someone who has no shame

Ken is barking up the wrong tree here and would be better served to stick to policy and whether or not it's good for our Country

Answer me this: if some Russian entity holds a ton of Trump debt, is President Trump more or less likely to be swayed by said Russian entity to mold policy/actions wrt said Russian entity?

How about this: if all these affairs are true, and he's been lying to Melania for all this time, do you think he would give a s*** if the truth came out unambiguously? If Melania finally got the truth (see lack of hand-holding photos), do you think she'd appreciate if the truth came out? Or doesn't he give a s*** what she thinks?

IDK Ken

these are things way above my pay grade. You can see clearly tho that we've slapped sanctions down on Russians (may not be the ones you want) and a few weeks ago we killed a bunch of them in Syria. If DJT is a Russian plant he's like the worst Russian plant ever.

i appreciate you're trying to have a serious discussion but otherwise i'd say your tinfoil hat is getting to tight. Seriously. Get after more substantive stuff and get over your girl lost.

talk policy and not salacious gossip eh?

These particular porn star/Playmate stories happened after he was married to Melania and Barron was born

There were probably more while he was married to Invana and Marla

You gotta ... not sure what the word is here ... that he had the predatory wherewithal to do everything in CASH = no paper trails

As noted in my earlier thread on the same topic ;) it's interesting how he defaults to trying to pay women for sex.

I think it's well known that Trump has Pecker in his back pocket.

As far as Putin's possible blackmail leverage, I don't think it's pornstar payoff stuff; Trump is immune to that. It's probably more the money laundering and pee-tape variety.

Or worse. What if the Russians have more than simply debt? The KGB or whatever they call it now could have a fat folder of material on him.

There is a real possibility of a blue dress if he denies it.

You’re right this is a whole lot of nothing— Kne should only post more substantial stuff,,,, like if Trump ever wears a tan suit or asks for “fancy” mustard

I dunno --I doubt many women would feel Donny's ejaculate was worth saving.
More likely they'll swab his DNA from a cheeseburger wrapper.
