Awesome luthier video

This is a really cool video of the luthiers at Goodall Guitars and how they build custom instruments by hand. Really amazing woodwork.

Skilled luthiers are true artisans. I've always wanted a custom-made guitar rather than something off the rack. Maybe one day...

I have enough skill to maintain and repair my violins. Oth, an old friend of mine is an amazing guitar maker, but his inlay work is out of this world (serially he is considered one of the best in the world). He is also a fanned fine player and song writer.

Those inlays are insane. I prefer a simpler more classical look, but that is some impressive work.

Landers is amazing, larrivee and laskin as well, and I don't know the others, but assuming the quality is up with folks I know this will be unbelievable.

Extraordinary guitars, but I'd have mixed feelings about owning one. I wouldn't want a guitar that I can't pick up and play, and these are too nice for that. You can't possibly play a guitar for long without putting some scratches or dings in them.

I don't play guitar, but I'm of the same school of thought when it comes to trucks, bike, skis, and guns. You gotta use 'em.

Monte seems to feel the same way:

If I own 'em, I play 'em.

Great video, amazing craftsmanship!

Make your own. These kits are not that expensive so if you end up with something that does not play right, it's not a huge loss; on the other hand, if you do like what you've made, you can build more and refine your skills.

Less is more.
