Anybody riding a Felt AR1 with Full Aerobars
Quote | Reply
Thinking about a Felt AR1 as a TT bike.
Not road with clip ons. But full proper Aerobars.
6'4" so the stack would be nice.

Anybody, and what is your feedback.

Thanks,
Pete

I had a full tririg alpha x setup on my AR2 for a while. Flip the seatpost, put on a omega x brake and your good to go. It was decently fast and really light. It had di2 and with a brake cable barrel adjuster at the top tube I could switch between road and tri setups in about 15 minutes including swapping the seat. But ultimately I ended up switching it back to a traditional roadie (and got an IA) because I wanted both a dedicated road and tri bike.

Did this a couple yrs ago. Similar to Chris and I may still have pics of his somewhere. If you can hit all your numbers it's a great bike. Since then I have gone to a full TT bike but still slap Aero bars on my AR four tris that have a lot of climbing.

Great bike.
