My best friend has lived in Philly for 20+ years so I've visited the place several times. Parts of the city are very nice but in general its definitely not the classiest big town in America. He reminds me of that every time I visit but then blames it on being so close to New Jersey. :-)

There’s bad behavior you can excuse during your hangover as the result of severe intoxication. And then there’s eating horse shit in the street, which cannot be explained no matter how severe the intoxication.
