What's the consensus now that the 5000 is out and apparently with 12% better rolling resistance??

My only hangup was the language of the response “Attack is still the most aero tire for a plus wheel”
I do believe that it may well be the most aero, but is it 2.5 watts per tire more aero? :p

The Attack tested by BRR is the gen2, which was smaller, heavier, and had the "aero" grooves facing the wrong way. Those of us who tested it found its Crr to be pretty variable. Sometimes nearly as good as the SS, sometimes almost as bad as the GP4000.

The new Attack is even lighter than the GPTT (~167g for my two samples), and is nearly as big as the 23. The grooves now orient the right way. I'd expect Crr to be very close to the GPTT, and if Hed really did aero test it, then it should be a good front tire for people who are adverse to using the CS or SS tires.

The Force rear is quite heavy now at ~218g, so I doubt that is a "fast" tire, relative to the GPTT.
