Sickness recovery??

So, last night the stomach bug hit my family hard. Most of the night was spent in the bathroom and/or helping and cleaning up for others. Luckily our littlest one (15 months) didn't get it. Anyway, today I honestly feel like I would after an IM (minus the muscle soreness). Completely lethargic and just wanting to sit and not do much. I'm definitely not doing anything workout wise, but how have others come back after being wiped out like this??

I had it starting Christmas day- I was good for nothing for about 6 days.
Started with a queasy stomach that became projectile vomiting and also diarrhea.
I could ride easy for maybe an hour- But zero energy to train.
Basically too dehydrated and no glycogen-
I couldn't eat much and had no taste for the foods that I usually like.

I have felt better for almost a week- Back to 100%.

I've had similar bugs. I always make sure I'm super rehydrated and listen to my body. I've learned to play it conservatively. After a nasty stomach bug I'll usually take another full week after I feel normal to start feeling normal from athletic stand point.
