Is this new, or am I just noticing it? I clicked to play a video on FB, it played for about 30 seconds and then was interrupted by a message that said "Video will continue after ad." - is this the evolution of the ads we have to endure at the beginning of videos now? I just closed it, don't give enough of a shit about my friends dog video share to sit through ads...

I saw something similar on short twitter videos. I said to hell with it and moved on.

Been around a month or 2. I haven't watched one yet, I just keep scrolling, ain't gonna give them the satisfaction.

Seen that too, super annoying. I don't watch the rest of the video when that happens! With social media companies being able to track how we deal with those commercials (i.e. they know people move on and not watch the ad or rest of the video) it'll probably be a temporary problem.
It's a few month since Facebook has launched it. They added new place to run ads, you can run post ads or video ads in Video (5-10s).
