Iphone 8 treadmill distance tracking options
Quote | Reply
So I am using a treadmill that does not show proper distance so I want to use my iPhone to get an accurate distance ran on it. Garmin sells a foot pod but it is ANT+ only and I have Bluetooth on the phone so it is not compatible. I am not going to get a new treadmill so that is not an option.

My question is, how can I accurately track mileage ran using my iPhone 8 on a treadmill? What are you using?

I saw the adapter and I am trying to avoid that.

Pick up the milestone pod on amazon. It transmits via bt, so your phone will pick it up. I don’t have one yet, but have heard they work okay.

The best deal available is the Milestone footpod. Adidas might be a little more accurate if you can find one. If you want running power too, the Stryd has been shown to be very accurate:
