debating on taking my 8 and 6 yr old boys, they want to see it but they are not bugging me to do it. my desire to see it has lessen as things have leaked out.

Not a huge fan of the franchise here, just never really got into it and half-heartedly watch the movies when I've seen them. But I've watched 7/9 of them, including the last 3 & took my 7 year old son this past weekend. There were parts that felt disjointed to me, as if they had to cut from the intended story of a director's cut for theatrical length. That said, there were symbolic and philosophical parts that I enjoyed, albeit a delivery that wasn't terribly nuanced. It was worth seeing, but if you're looking to fully enjoy it as an adult I'd think a director's cut -- if they even release those with this franchise -- would be more entertaining to fill in the gaps they left in the story.

I'd give it a 5 out of ten. Luke is now the "dude" from the big labowski.
