none of these harassment issues became important until the dem's made them important. dont get me wrong, they all need to be dealt with, i dont care your party affiliate, race, region, sex, whatever. but i dont think the left expected so many from the left to be the perps. harassment issues should be dealt with no question about that. wrt matthews, it was dealt with, the prob is when he goes out and calls out people for exhibiting the same behavior he's guilty of all the while feigning a position of higher morality. which i think a lot of people in power are guilty of.

gene simmons, i cant believe he hasn't been accused of harassment, let alone rape, until now. he admits (claims???) he's bagged thousands of women, any one of whom could easily make a harassment claim be it in earnest or not.

i dont know enough about tavis to say either way, but if he has a position of power, he's prob guilty.

What the hell did dems have to do with Harvey Weinstein raping women??

However, in the workplace, it is sexual harassment. That's what we're down to, which was discussed at length in a previous thread - conflating rape and sexual assault (see 'Weinstein', et al) with sexual innuendo in the workplace. The presumption of guilt rules and allegations are sufficient to ruin one's career regardless of how effective the defense might be.

No I haven’t missed any of it. It isnt a partisan issue. You dipshits are trying to speak out of both sides of your mouths.

That is true.

However, it affects one party in this case more than the other. Not knocking the democrats as every human institution has corruption and flaws. Today the democrats and tomorrow (or yesterday, Hastert) the republicans. However, the democrats will be politically weakened until they admit their Weinstein/Clinton folly. Al Franken won't atone for that.
